In the latest health-related news, we are happy to write that in France, drugs again the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 were tested, and they were successful, for pretty much the first time, all around the globe.
The study was conducted on the basis of the infectious diseases hospital of the University Hospital of Marseille. Scientists have tested the effectiveness of treatment with a combination of antimalarial drugs hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin.
The control group included 16 people. They were prescribed antibiotics and symptomatic treatment. Another 14 people took hydroxychloroquine for ten days. Six of them were additionally prescribed azithromycin.
As a result, on the fifth day of treatment, patients taking the combination of drugs recovered.
